Who is therapy for?

Therapy is for anyone and everyone.

Therapy is for you if you are looking for a safe and completely confidential space to speak openly with someone who will listen attentively with empathy and without judgement. Therapy is also for you if you are looking for a fresh new perspective on your life experiences and challenges, and if you are wanting to acquire new skills to make change and live a more full life.

I have experience working with children, youth, adults, couples and families who have experienced trauma (childhood abuse, violence, war, illness), anxiety, panic, depression, grief and loss, anger, relationship challenges and social-emotional challenges.

What to expect!

Creating a safe space for you to express yourself freely is my priority. I will spend a good amount of time getting to know you and understanding you from a holistic perspective (mind, body, emotions, spirit, family, culture and community/global systems).

Therapy must be a collaborative experience. You will be in control of what we talk about and work on, what you want out of counselling and how often you attend counselling. I will use a variety of techniques to help you grow, heal and transform. Together we will find the best approach for you.

I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR). I am trained and experienced in CBT, DBT, mindfulness, inner child work, body focused somatic therapy, solution focused therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

I offer sessions in person, on-line and by phone for individuals and couples.

How much will it cost?

I want therapy to be accessible to everyone.

I offer a free 15 minute consultation. The session fee is $140.00 per hour for individuals and $174.00 for couples. Should your financial situation be a barrier to therapy, I am open to finding a way to make therapy more accessible to you.

I am registered with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). If you are Indigenous, therapy can be paid for through FNHA.

I am also registered with Crime Victim Services (CVAP)
